It is a federal requirement that you complete a student loan counseling session prior to obtaining your loan, as well as when you are about to enter your repayment period. The following information and subsequent “exams,” offered through our partnership with Mapping Your Future®, Inc., are provided as a convenient method to help you understand your rights and obligations as a student loan borrower.
Entrance Counseling
You have applied for a Stafford and/or GradPLUS loan and are required by your school to complete the initial counseling session.
Exit Counseling
You are entering repayment and are required by your school to complete exit counseling.
