Go to to apply for debt relief. For help completing the form, call Federal Student Loan Debt Relief Support at (833) 932-3439. After you apply:

  • FSA will notify you when your application is approved and has been sent to Nelnet to process your debt relief, which could take several weeks.
  • Nelnet will send you an email or letter when the debt relief has been applied to your loan(s). It may take some time for your Nelnet account to reflect this change. We appreciate your patience.
