- 2023 Tax Information: No later than January 31, 2024, we’ll show you the amount of interest paid on your student loans in 2023 on your billing statement or by letter and in your Nelnet.com account. Any interest paid to Nelnet by 4 p.m. (Eastern) on December 29 will be included. If your loans transferred from Great Lakes or Granite State in 2023, Nelnet will mail your tax information if $600 or more in interest was paid before the transfer. View our tax FAQs for more details.
